Beetle in a hurry

This beetle thought everyone had gone to bed and rushed across the kitchen floor but decided he was not sure where he was going so turned round and came back. He stopped on a line made by the tiles (good camouflage ) and then headed for a tiny mouse-hole made years ago under a cupboard door and disappeared down it. Oops here he comes again, same route, ignoring my feet as he went by. It's all go here, I wonder what else I would see if I just sat here.........
