Snow........
.......at Low Levels
Overnight snow had covered the surrounding mountains with late winter snow.
The Takaka Hill was also covered at the higher level so this morning we headed that way for snow photos. It wasn’t really thick, but for the locals, it is still a novelty!
In this part of NZ it is very rare to have snow fall at sea level – the closest we get is when it falls on the hill between Motueka and Takaka so today there were many families on this hill ‘playing’ in the snow.
The comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s ‘buttery coloured’ flower are all appreciated. Thank you everyone.
