Another strike!

This an old railway bridge that no longer carries railway but instead is waiting for funding to become a cycle route. As part of my job I have to inspect the route every so often and we have specialist bridge engineers who keep an eye on the 1300 or so structures we have across the country.

This one is a skew bridge with limited headroom and, as you can see, often gets hit by lorries who get it wrong! It was struck again this sometime this week so I had to go out and take pics to send to our bridge engineer.
