Water lilies are in bloom at the moment in Ueno Park in Tokyo. They are nearly 30cm or larger in dimension - massive! The flowers were so energetic despite the recent heat wave. The weather was not particularly comfortable (the highest temperature yesterday in Tokyo was 37°C and today 35°C), however it was worth visiting and a long walk really did me good.
