GOLF OUTING AT SANDY PONDS

Dave and Lynn Cooperman organized the Second Annual Golf Outing. We met at Sandy Ponds and had Sandwiches and Drinks at 5PM! Since no husband and wife were allowed on the same team, we had to choose up teams. I played with Andre, Bill and Eileen on Team 4! We had special instructions for several holes including attempting to get a hole in one in a hula hoop, having to get an "article in a special hole", having to "dress to hit the driver," having to Kick the golf ball into the hole (not easy), hit the beach ball into a kiddie pool with a club, and putting contest! Everyone had a great time......and I got lots of steps. The Awards Dinner was held at the North Fork Tasting Room. Awards were given for best and worst scores. The award for Worst Team was disguises to wear ......Groucho glasses and nose! The Best Score prizes was trophies, paper crowns and the team players names will be added to (Engraved on) "The Golden Club" which is kept in Dave's Shed for viewing! Dinner and dancing were great.....the wine and beer were excellent as usual!
