Epernay - champagne town

Stayed in Epernay en route. Funny place but then walked around a bit and found out why it's famous. The poor town was obliterated in the war but they saved as much of the champagne industry as poss. Such a happy tourist office, I'm guessing because of the bubble quaffing going on loosens people up. Really wanted a champagne stopper (bouchon) stool, but big squeeze gave me the "no room" excuse :/
