Moorhen & Chick

It's been a lovely day here with wall-to-wall sunshine. This morning we decided to go for a walk along the river. There were still some young moorhens being fed. There were also some rather strange looking ducks which I have added to the extras. I think they look as if they have been crossed with turkeys. They are quite big, almost as large as a small goose.
