Dark and light

We've had a lovely relaxed Saturday today. The weather ( until now) has been sunshine and shadow. N and I went out this afternoon for a walk into Gosford Woods ( a local stately home ) and round the fish ponds. We wanted to do some butterfly spotting for the Great Butterfly Count as it finishes this weekend.
We were fortunate enough to count about 5 different species which I've recorded and submitted. We also saw ....
Buzzards, swans, moorhens, herons, damselflies, geese, and a frog !!!!! All in all a great walk.
The blip is a close up of the wall of a small building which had a seed trapped on it. I liked the dark grey wall with the light seed.
