Day 12 - Split

Amazing day today! Got up early for our bus to Krka national park, which was heaven as it was air conditioned (think it was already about 30 degrees or over at that point... Sooooo hot). Went past somewhere game of thrones was filmed on the way and some more of Croatia, and then arrived at a river. We got the boat the rest of the way, and got dropped off right inside the park. We went straight to the main waterfalls which were absolutely beautiful, and we swam in the freshwater lake they flowed into. The water was sooo blue and gorgeous. We walked round the national park (not very big but couldn't have handled walking far in the heat), and saw water snakes, fish, dragonflies and loads of other smaller waterfalls. This waterfall was near the end of the walk, and the picture doesn't really do it justice! Also stopped off at a small coastal village on the way back which was lovely.
Night train tonight but we managed to book beds, so wasn't as bad as the first night train! Oddly shared the cabin with the same girls we met on the train on the way here!
