A moo coo...

Dry ! Went away and baled the last of the silage down the road, then came home via the field of straw needing baled, but too raw to bale. If it's not dry then the bales will heat and go mouldy  .The field is next to houses,so it's always a toss up if it's dry enough for me to bale,or the natives to use the "Bluebell baler" first
Sent Bill home and left Calum to scatter a field of grass which we will try to make into hay (maybe), put the mower on and wacked down another 25 acres this afternoon.
Wee brother and Lippinfou away to see a fringe show in town ,so had to check the calving cows. Nothing doing,so went and moved the cattle into the field I baled this morning to tidy up the un cut bits.Checked the straw, still damp, and could get damper looking at the sky ! Home via the chinese take away for a late tea !
For those who don't know what the Bluebell baler is ,see photo No. 2.
