These two decided to have a dip in Windermere. It was warm, but not that warm.

On holiday at Hopes grandparents caravan in the Lake District with her oldest friend Josie. The two of them have barely stopped giggling. They have been friends since nursery and have that effortless comfort with each other that only the best of friends have.

Mostly good weather so they've been mucking about in the boat, and we've done very little. It's been bliss. A little odd being here for the first time without her mother but I'd get told off quickly if I looked wistful. Catching up on reading. Brookmyre demolished. Warner about to begin.
