Photography Corner

My equipment now has a home; a corner of the dining area - thanks to the adoption of our old desks. The dining table is now free from the array of filters, lenses, soft boxes, memory cards et al, and order is now restored. Phew.

In other news, I had a lovely day; the kind that reminds me how lucky I am to live in such a nice place. I did a bit of work for a friend a while ago, and, I find it very hard to charge my usual daily rates to friends, so we agreed on payment by means of a Spa day! And today was payment day.

So we began with a hot stone massage, which was absolute heaven. I can't believe I've lived 40 years on this planet without ever experiencing this before. Then a bit of lunch, with the obligatory sparkling wine, followed with a couple of hours sunbathing, followed by a wee jaunt on the ocean, courtesy of a Hobie sailing lesson. My first ever. Perfect day, rounded off with a cocktail just before sundown! Two firsts in one day. Year 40, I am loving you. Sarah, thanks for such a lovely day!!
