Operatunity

First off, thank you, Blipfoto Community, for the welcome back. I cannot express how grateful I am for your feedback. I am awful at getting back to you, but know that I do read your comments and appreciate your stars. You all rock.

Today began the craziness that will consume the lives of the Mrs and myself for the next week. Beyond our normal lives and jobs, we will be working behind the scenes and in front of house for the dual (that's right, dual) opera that is being put on by the NZSM this week. The operas are Purcell's Dido &Aeneas and Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortilèges. They are directed by Frances Moore and conducted by Donald Maurice & Kenneth Young.

For those you interested or in the area, the performances are at Memorial Theatre, Victoria University of Wellington from 13-15 August at 7:30pm, and 16 August at 2:00pm. Tickets are $60 for adults and $20 for students. Book them on Ticketek. 

I have been asked to take a few shots during the dress rehearsals to advertise. Not sure if this one will make the cut, but was one of my favourites from today. Let the craziness begin.
