Today's The Day

My grandson Luis is eighteen today.

As promised we arrived at Sarah and Manolo's complex to help get ready. Whilst Sam and Josh swam we decorated the BBQ area and helped get some of the food ready.
Around 12:00 I had my first beer!
Manolo's family arrived from Madrid and Luis's friends gathered as well.
Sarah and Manolo seemed to be everywhere getting things ready and sorted out.
We ate around two, simply delicious lobster and rice, trust me, that description doesn't do it justice.
Luis had two cakes, the confection one in today's photo and a chocolate one, the whole day was brilliant.
Sarah did tell me the statistics;
5 bottles of gin
2 bottles of rum
2 bottles of vodka
1 bottle of whiskey
12 bottles of wine
140 cans of lager
And an enormous amount of food. All that remains is a few crisps and nuts.
Luis left for a night out in Barcelona with his friends, he had a good party with his family and enjoyed it and that's all that really matters.
