Porty People and Places

Another low cloud day on the east coast. The cloud has been the consistent feature of our summer here so far. The leaves are beginning to take on their autumn tint and the chestnuts are burgeoning on the branches in front of our house. Some cheerful folk say that the Scottish summer will now  begin in 2016 !

Running on the subdued surf of the incoming tide this morning was very calming and restorative - good to use some different muscles after two consecutive days of cycling!

The Festival events today are all indoors so we will enjoy them - whatever the weather!
