Poor doggy

Our dog Ella has been seen in blips before but looking happier than this. Well, she is about 14 years old but often runs around like a puppy.

In the last couple of days the right side of her face became swollen. So, off to the vet this afternoon to confirm that she was in urgent need of a "dental", under anaesthetic, with blood tests and fluids monitoring because she's an elderly dog. Till then, we are administering antibiotics and anti-inflammatory tablets. That's fun. She was also diagnosed with a heart murmer so she'll have a chest x-ray too.

That will all happen on Wednesday. After that, we hope that Ella will be a lot happier but we'll be a lot poorer!

(NB: I tried a basic redeye fix but her eyes went green. She's not a cat! Probably not intended to work for animal eyes. This will have to do).
