TO THE RESCUE

as my guests have departed, the sun has slipped behind the clouds and I have not done my blip yet. 
Decided to make a traditional chicken pie for lunch. My modern twist was to use a biscuit like pastry on top made from ground oats and cheese. The filling is chicken that has been simmered for hours with a bag of spices including cloves and allspice. On one occasion I forgot to remove the muslin bag and a guest politely asked me about it having been chewing for ages.
