flying visit

cross country to Sheffield to help a friend celebrate, catch up and soak up the welcome sunshine. Our route took us through the Peak District which I am ashamed to say we've never visited before. So we took full advantage on our return, including a stop in Bamford for tea and a stretch of the legs across Ladybower Dam - made famous by the Dambusters. Altogether a very happy and satisfying day.......helped some by lunchtime cocktails (thanks ladies!)
