Blue Weed, Blåeld, (Echium vulgare)

I’m still very lethargic, thanks to the cold I caught a while back so I’m not roaming far from the house.
This is a flower growing just outside the front door in a pot. In Swedish it's (probably) called blåeld, bluefire, and in English seems to be called blue weed. I'm not 100% convinced it is Echium vulgare but it may be a cultivated version.
Taking the picture from directly above gave an interesting view, even if it doesn’t really show what the flower actually looks like!
