Golden Domes

We travelled 315km today in a round trip from Chisinau to Risipeni to visit the next team's project and to meet the pastor we'll be working with in the children's club. Moldovan generosity and hospitality meant that we had to eat two lunches - but we were up to the challenge!
Just driving through one village we came across this incredibly shiny and magnificent Orthodox Church. I'm afraid I don't know the history of it but it looked so opulent amid the old cottages and run down farms it just had to be photographed.
