Approaching symmetry

We arrived at the site today to find a cluster of ladders hanging from the crane and all the beams in place on the north side of the house. What a piece of work they're producing - the heavy beams look like sharp origami folds with just the paper/metalwork roofing required to create something that feels oddly, bizarrely Japanese.
Now that's unexpected.
It really is rather beautiful I think. And quiet somehow.
