Experimenting

Now that Lagganlia and orienteering are behind us it is time to turn our thoughts and time to Jen and Pete's wedding in two weeks' time, so I am going to try and make each blip up to then wedding related!

We each have cooking responsibilities for the Ceilidh party after the Registry Office ceremony and Tony is on egg and bacon pies and apple pies.  Here he is experimenting with Paul Hollowood's individual fruit pies.  Becky and I both had similar thoughts about the first batch - tasty, buttery pastry but the filling (with mascarpone!) nothing to shout about, in fact we both prefer dad's traditional apple pies!
