Pumpkin & Plums

Well if I can't be at Pateley Bridge I may as well visit the allotment. Thank you for your kind comments about my early departure from the show.

This is my daughter's pumpkin, about the size of a football at the moment. She has a few more hiding under the mass of leaves. My butternut squash bushes are starting to flower so hopefully they will start appearing soon.

My extra is of some of my plums. Everyone I have checked so far has a grub inside... :o((

Weeding and grass cutting will be some jobs for the week ahead.
