Aden allotments

Hubby and I were on Book of Deer duty this afternoon, in a very busy Aden Park where the crowds had been drawn in by the annual pipe band competition. We had a lot of visitors to the Project Room, twice as many as a normal Sunday. I think the good weather helped too. We took the opportunity afterwards to visit the allotments and see what had been happening since our holiday. Suffice to say we are growing a cracking crop of chickweed and the rotavator will need to come out again! There's been an amazing amount of growth in two weeks and it was good to see so many of the plots showing the fruits of their owners' endeavours. Hopefully that will be us next year!
