One of my favorites!

We left Bar Harbor shining in the sun, and headed south to our much anticipated reunion with Deb, Hilly and Simon....with a bonus of meeting Willie this time around!!
The tourists were out in full force, but we had to stop at one of our favorite lighthouses....Nubble Head near York Harbor.   Al and I first saw this about 40 years ago on our first trip to Maine, and it has been drawing us back ever since.   
The crowds ebbed and flowed like the tide, and let me get this shot with absolutely no one in it.  I still love this place, but I love it best on a sunny September day when the masses have headed home.
Our trip led us through beautiful country, and finally to a beautiful home where we were welcomed with open arms.....more on that tomorrow!
