without fire.. I really enjoyed Marie's lovely hotpot.. almost as much as rebuilding Carmel and Dominic's sad attempt at a bonfire... Just as it finally got going and the fireworks were about to be lit Poppy decided she was overtired and we had to make a sharp exit otherwise known as a tactical retreat..Now thankfully they're both fast asleep... I'm really missing a piece of parkin and some black peas.. not in that order... but a cool glass of white will have to suffice... Still.. I must admit I really enjoyed the twisted fire starting...
