Twelve hour working day

I arrived at work at 7 a.m. this morning. I left work at 7 p.m
When I finally arrived home I took a picture of the clock. The house was cold at 8°C. These sorts of hours were common in my 33 years of teaching. The students were great but I certainly don't miss the staff meetings, report writing, sports practices and endless hours of assesment.
