Engines/ Binoculars

Driving past the Dean Gallery today this caught my attention and I thought - why not?

From some angles this looks like a pair of giant binoculars and others two abandoned 747 engines.

I think it is trying to be both. I didn't have time to go into the gallery for any information on this and thought I would find some on the web, no such luck. I will have to find time for a more detailed visit, and hopefully not such a drench day. Good day at work and looking forward to the weekend.
