Today it just had to be the buttercups that share my grass with the daisies that appeared yesterday.

Until I remembered the poppies that I caught between the showers first thing this morning. They were battered from the rain but still doing their best to look beautiful for me.

And they did.

The buttercups will probably we here for a while as the weather doesn't look set to improve anytime soon.
