Oasis

A young woman seeks respite from the madding crowd.
I felt the same way as I slipped into "grouchy Edinburger" mode trying to make my way through the crowds to meet an old colleague and his partner who were visiting the city.
The festival is wonderful and brings a unique vibrancy...as long as you don't have to be anywhere at a specific time!!
It was great to catch up over a coffee before they headed to the airport and I girded my loins and slipped through the madness like a besuited  ninja, ducking into lesser known closes and staircases to avoid the throng!
