Seed Heads

Our walk today was to Chellington, where today there is a 12th Century Church renovated and used as a residential centre, the church was used for services until the early 1970s the actual village was abandoned before this, for reasons unknown, one it might have been the Black Death or just that Carlton was more attractive to live in. The seed heads are for the MM they are working hard to scatter the seeds for next years thistles
