Common Blue #1

The start of my common blue challenge. It was overcast all day with drizzle on and off so I didn't see many common blues on the wing. The common blue is the most widespread blue butterfly in Britain and is usually found in grassland. This is the male, looking quite pristine so probably from a second brood.
