Is this careful enough?
So, Grandpa logged into his internet banking this afternoon to find tons of fraudulent payments. Hotels, flights, Selfridges you name it they had done it!
The fraud team are obviously very busy today as Grandpa had to wait the best part of 20 minutes to speak to an advisor.
Me thinks that this fraud lark is more rife than we are made to believe. I question whether the banks and police are really onto the case.
Surely the fraudster has to type in a delivery address or passenger name, I would have thought it would be plain simple to just find the culprit at the delivery address or simply surprise him in front of a jumbo jet full of holidaymakers . Simple really isn't it?
The good news is that Grandpa was told that he would get his money back and that he should cut up his card and dispose of it carefully - as you can see, he took this instruction rather literally.
Fraudsters, I hope the police find you and chop your hands and feet off. Grrrrr, we are both disgusted and extremely angry this evening.
Gramps is now awaiting a new debit card. What hassle. We both want to scream!!! :-D
