Thorpeness Windmill

The walk along the railway line from Aldeburgh to Thorpeness and then back along the beach to Aldeburgh takes in some well known Suffolk landmarks, the Mere, House In the Clouds, The Seashell and the Windmill. The last few times we have passed this it has been under renovation, it's now back to its full glory.

The walk was lovely aside from the hideous horseflies along the railway. Vicious is an understatement.

The big skies of Suffolk are always stunning and today was absolutely no exception.
