Derek Paravicini and Temple Grandin

Stayed over last night in Ormskirk with colleagues and went to a conference on Autism with Temple Grandin as keynote speaker. She is such an engaging speaker. It was great to hear what she thought and about her life and her Google like mind!

Derek played the piano and was truly out of this world, he has the most amazing musical memory ever and loves his jazz, so jazzed up the Flight of the Bumble Bee and Gerschwin's Rhapsody in Blue, off the top of his head- fantastic! Great guy from a mainstream school in Sheffield who runs a resourced provision which sounds amazing.
Drove back in time for kids bed.
