From tiny acorns

“Our ordinary mind always tries to persuade us that we are nothing but acorns and that our greatest happiness will be to become bigger, fatter, shinier acorns; but that is of interest only to pigs. Our faith gives us knowledge of something better: that we can become oak trees.” ~ E. F. Schumacher

Went on a bike ride through the local country park this morning and found lots of lovely oak trees with developing acorns.  It was a bit of a rough ride on gravelly paths but we got home in one piece!
I've just tried to join in with a Dementia Friends Webinar for the first time and couldn't access it properly - tried to sort it out but have now given up for this time as there's a lot going on around me!  Will try again as it looked really interesting.  It really needs to be just me concentrating rather than a busy house!

I've always liked acorns and the concept that such small things develop into big strong lasting trees and who knows what else from there.

May we all be like acorns...
