Blackcurrants - at a price!

"Do you want some blackcurrants?" asked Ruth "you'll have to bring your bucket and pick your own".  We did just that and managed 1.7kg between us in no time!  I told Ruth I was going to make jam with them and asked her if she would like some.  Her reply was   "Of course!  Why else do you think I offered them to you!"

These old Orcadians are shrewd characters!  They do make great neighbours though . . . !
