False economy

My Tuesday practice yes, THAT one is being prepped for the big rebranding.

The guys came today to measure up and see what needs doing.

What they've decided in my surgery, despite the cabinetry being knackered, is to 'wrap' the worktops and cupboard fronts with a view to replacing everything in 12-18 months.
I asked why it just couldn't be replaced now, but it's down to cost (of course).
To me, it seems foolish to spend £1000 trying to pretty things up short term, when £4000 would buy new cabinets that would last for years lets face it, these have!.

My manager also commented that for her, it's frustrating when the flagship rebranded practices are all singing and dancing; while we are basically getting a paint job.

As the saying goes.....'you can't polish a turd, but you can put glitter on it'!
