Calgary Bay, Mull
backblip
It was a very windy and rainy night, we decided to stay put at the campsite instead of exploring wild camping. Bill and Martha were very keen to visit Balamory so we set off for Tobermory. Bill couldn't quite grasp that Balamory was a fictional place and I think he ended up quite disappointed but all that evaporated when we reached Calgary Bay in the afternoon. The sea was eye wateringly cold but you couldn't get Bill out of it, he absolutely loved splashing in the waves and Martha was keen not to be left out.
On a long and windy single track road back to the campsite we passed some spectacular scenery and stopped for a BBQ on the side of a hill over looking the sea and the sea cliffs beyond.
