Rain at last.

Thunder and lightening on the sea at 11.00am.

I would have danced in the the rain, for pure joy, if we hadn't been in the car when it began to pour down. 

It was amusing to see the exodus of holiday hotdes , towels over their heads, heading for cover. I ought to be ashamed of what I just wrote, but for various reasons, I've forgiven myself.


Later, I measured the water in the dog's bowl and, assuming they hadn't drunk any of it, it rained at least 4 inches (10cm) in just a few hours.

The extra shot shows how it was at 11,30am, bucketing down and street lights on. We could have been in the UK!
