Back street with cabbage tree

It was very hot and sunny all day - saw some of the music in the main marquee during the afternoon (Grannys Attic were hot stuff!). Then discovered that we weren't going to get a sound check at 6 pm for our set later in the evening "because otherwise the sound crew won't get a break". Pity they didn't think of that earlier....so it made it very difficult to play for us and probably horrible to listen to (lots of intermittent feedback etc). Not enjoyable at all. Rapid exit afterwards back to Herne Bay and another cold beer. We sat outside for a while to watch the stars for a while and saw some splendid shooting stars, with several bonus satellites.
