Southend pier

Did some work this morning and then went to meet a friend in Southend.  Weather still warm but overcast.  It was a strange sky and the Thames was like a mill pond.  Liked this shot that I took when we were walking back as it gives more of an idea of how long the pier is.  Bagged myself a bargain pair of walking shoes whilst in Southend.  Saw A and D when I came home, always nice to see them for a chat.
