Squirrel's birthday today.
When we dropped round with her presents it looked like a bomb had hit and the entire extended family had come to have a laugh at the disaster.

We didn't stay long.

Got an invitation to Chicken Lady's for a bite to eat at lunchtime and see her completed 'new' livingroom.
Completed apart from the new doors which need finished. Her choice is Danish Oil.
It was pointed out that Danish Oil on 5 completely untreated doors is going to cost a small fortune in gallons of the stuff and a lot of time and effort.
I suspect that sanding sealer may be used first now.

Butterfly brought her parents round for a while this afternoon.
Try as we might, we couldn't get her to walk despite the claims that she can do 3 steps.

I had a new toy delivered late afternoon .......... a new (small) lathe.
Now all I have to do is try and work out where I am going to set it up.
