Plums?

Over the Garden Wall 2.

Another hot and humid day with quite a lot of cloud cover.

I love to look 'over the garden wall' at other peoples gardens and tonight on my walk I saw these.   They look like plums but not having any idea if they grow on shrubs or trees, they may not be.

I am sure someone will know.
