London
I have had a lovely day out in London with my good friend Seabreeze.
While she was attending an appointment at St Thomas' hospital, I went for a mooch over Westminster bridge, and around parliament square.
Today's offering is some padlocks attached to the light fitting on Westminster bridge, that very famous clock in the background.
padlocks or 'love locks' are attached to bridges or similar public features by couples as a public symbol of the love they share, they then throw the key into the river below. Some bridges such as the Pont des Arts in Paris have become so covered in love locks that they have had to be removed for fear of damaging the bridge structure.
Luckily for us, Westminster bridge doesn't have too many places to attach love locks.
I have added an extra fun shot of a red london bus looking for all the world it is giving a lift to a stone Lion.
