Cake part 1

I've been baking this afternoon, I mistakenly volunteered myself to make a cake for my parents anniversary next week - why can't I keep my mouth shut?!! It started as a small single layer and has now developed into a three tier wedding cake type thing thanks to my brothers big mouth!! I say type thing as it will look nothing like a wedding cake but hey it's the thought that counts - If all else fails Tesco do some great cakes!!! I'll keep you posted with the results as long as you promise not to laugh...!
