Busy bee
Today has been a busy day. I got to the gardens at 8, ready to take nectar measurements at 9am, 12 noon, 3pm and 6pm. As I was looking at 6 species and 10 flowers for each, as well as my two sites being at opposite ends of the garden, it took me about 2 and a half hours for each set of measurements, giving me very little rest time. However, just as I finished my 3pm measurements, it started to rain. I sat it out for a bit before deciding that I wouldn't be able to do anymore work, half annoyed that I was missing out on my final time and half happy that I got to go home and relax. At least I got SOME data though!
Then in for a quick tea and off to see my first every fringe show. It was absolutely hilarious and definitely something that will be hard to beat for future shows!
