The Glen, Rackwick

Another quick flip across to Hoy today for the Current Mrs Creel to see visiting relatives.  This view is of the Glen in Rackwick.  CMC spent a great deal of her childhood here with her Granny and Great Aunty and Uncles.  CMC’s Granny used to be the Rackwick teacher.  Latterly her only two pupils used to be CMC’s mother and Uncle.  I think this is where the teaching genes come from.

Tonight it will be home to a boiling of the first new tatties, salmon and all the spinach I can pick.
