Autumn is a-coming.

A sure sign Autumn isn't far away - rose hips!
Good for all manner of things - tea, syrup, jam, wine and so on - but they were best as 'Itchy-backs' as we called them at Junior School.
Split them open, get the hairy seeds out and stuff them down the back of somebody's shirt :-)   They would spend a few lessons itching and scratching :-)
