Porty People and Places

Great to go for a John Muir Way walk with J and D - friends we have know since first meeting here in Edinburgh in the late seventies. They are in town this week to join in the festivities but still had time to come and see us on Edinburgh's seaside!

I spent the afternoon and early evening working and we are looking forward to our non work, break away from Edinburgh, tomorrow.

We hope to see some meteors in the sky this evening now that the clouds have gone and the moon is being very obliging by not shining on this year's show. I remember seeing the Perseid shower spectacularly in the Pyrenees some 10 years ago. I hope that this year's will be as good!
